They met and became friends
She fell for him
and wanted more than friendship.
She became close to him
talked with him
spent a lot of time with him.
He liked her personality
and didn't mind being friends with a beautiful angel like her.
She invited him over
and showed him around the house
After a while, they sat
together on the couch
staring at nothing.
She looked at him
He looked at her
She moved close and kissed him
He couldn't resist so he responded
Slowly and gently, they had each other.
They saw each other more often
She became one he couldn't do without
He realized he had fallen for her.
He told all his friends about her.
One day, he picked a ring for her
After all they had known each other for a while
After all they were in love and they cared for each other
why not spend all their lives together?
He intended to surprise her
by asking for her hand in marriage.
On getting to her house
he saw her coming out of the house
hand in hand with another man
an older man to be precise.
She denied knowing him
and said he could have been the real estate agent
he was shocked and hurt.
He hurried away.
He couldn't eat or sleep
his life was completely shut
His world was falling apart
His best friend couldn't even console him
He sat at his work desk and cried
like a baby craving mama's milk.
She shut him out completely
She didn't call or return his calls
He wondered if he was just a fling
He wondered if he wasn't good enough
But he realized he was wrong
He was everything she wanted in a man
but she was already married to an older man.
She was married before she met and fell for him.
She never told him.
I cannot help but wonder. Do men still cry over women? With everything I see around me, I cannot help but ask if a love like this exists... I mean the kind that shatters a whole man's world when he sees his love is slipping away... DO real men cry over women they love?

J-E-S-U-S!
A Muslim man in Egypt killed his wife because she
was reading the Bible and then buried her with their
infant baby and an 8-year old daughter.
The girls were buried alive! He then reported to the
police that an uncle killed the kids. 15 days later,
another family member died. When they went to bury
him, they found the 2 little girls under the sand -
ALIVE!
The country is outraged over the incident, and the
man will be executed.
The older girl was asked how she had survived and
she says:- "A man wearing shiny white clothes, with
bleeding wounds in his hands, came every day to feed
us. He woke up my mom so she could nurse my sister,"
she said. She was interviewed on Egyptian national
TV, by availed Muslim woman news anchor. She said on
public TV, "This was none other than Jesus, because
nobody else does thing s like this!"
Muslims believe Isa (Jesus) would do this, but the
wounds mean He really was crucified, and it's clear
also that He is alive! But, it's also clear that the
child could not make up a story like this, and there
is no way these children could have survived without
a true miracle.
With Egypt at the center of the media and education in
the Middle East , you can be sure this story will spread.
Christ is still turning the world upside down!
Please let this story be shared. The Lord says, "I
will bless the person who puts his trust in me."

No One
I whisper words about you endlessly
Mostly to myself because you make me believe
No one could ever love me like you could
There wouldn't be a day I'd be alone
And never would there be a time I didn't know
Cause no one could ever love me like you could
You have been the one who fulfills my dreams
I'll never let you go
If you stay with me
I promise you would know
Of all the times I've reached out for you
Oh, can't you see how I adore you
I couldn't spend my life without you
Please believe me I will never doubt you
You've been the one to answer all my prayers
Anytime I need you I know that you'll be there
Cause no one could ever love me like you could
I'm hoping that you'll hear these prayers of mine
I'm hoping that we'll be together for all times
Cause no one could ever love me like you could
Oh I would do anything for you
to share that place in my heart
Please let me be the one
It would mean everything
There'll be no one to keep us apart
Lyrics to No One by Cece Winans. I really love the lyrics because it just reminds me that when no one's there, God is near. He's just close enough to answer our prayers. You know how it is with people (loved ones)... when you make mistakes, some forsake you. God is not like that... he's just someone who has no restrictions. You can call on him anytime. No one can love you or me as much as he does.
P.S: I was at the studio a couple of weeks ago and I recorded No One (alicia keys) in yoruba. My crew and I were just playing around but it turned out nice. I'll share it as soon as I can.

Heaven and Hell
A holy man was having a conversation with the Lord one day and said, 'Lord, I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like.'
The Lord led the holy man to two doors.
He opened one of the doors and the holy man looked in. In the middle of the room was a large round table. In the middle of the table was a large pot of stew, which smelled delicious and made the holy man's mouth water.
The people sitting around the table were thin and sickly. They appeared to be famished. They were holding spoons with very long handles that were strapped to their arms and each found it possible to reach into the pot of stew and take a spoonful. But because the handle was longer than their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths.
The holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering. The Lord said, 'You have seen Hell.'
They went to the next room and opened the door. It was exactly the same as the first one. There was the large round table with the large pot of stew which made the holy man's mouth water. The people were equipped with the same long-handled spoons, but here the people were well nourished and plump, laughing and talking. The holy man said, 'I don't understand.'
It is simple,' said the Lord. 'It requires but one skill. You see, they have learned to feed each other. The greedy think only of themselves.'
What's your say?

The Four Wives
Once upon a time, there was a king who had four wives. He loved the 4th wife the most and adored her with rich robes and treated her to the finest of delicacies. He gave her nothing but the best.
He also loved the 3rd wife very much and was always showing her off to neighboring kingdoms. however, he feared that one day she would leave him for another.
He also loved his 2nd wife. She was his confidant and was always kind, considerate, and patient with him. Whenever the king raced a problem, he could confide in her, and she would help him get through the difficult times.
The king's 1st wife was a loyal parter and had made great contributions in maintaining his wealth and kingdom. However, he did not love her. Although she loved him deeply, he hardly took notice of her!
One day the king fell ill and he knew his time was short. He thought of his luxurious life and wondered, I now have four wives with me, but when I die, I'll be all alone.
Thus he asked the 4th wife, "I loved you the most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you. Now that I am dying, will you follow me and keep me company?"
"No way!" replied the 4th wife, and she walked out on him. Her answer cut like a sharp knife right into his heart.
The sad king then asked the 3rd wife, " I loved you all my life. Now that I am dying, will you follow me and keep me company?"
"Hell No!" replied the 3rd wife, "life is too good! When you die, I'm going to remarry!"
His heart sank and turned cold.
He then asked the 2nd wife, " I have always turned to you for help and you've always been there for me. When I die, will you follow me and keep me company?"
"I'm sorry, i can't help you out this time!" replied the 2nd wife. "At the most, I can only walk with you to your grave."
Her answer struk him like a bolt of lightning, and he was devastated.
Then a voice called out: "I'll go with you. I'll follow you no matter where you go."
The king looked up and there was his 1st wife. She was very skinny as she had suffered from malnutrition and neglect. Greatly grieved, the king said, "I should have taken much better care of you when I had the chance!"
In truth, we all have the 4 wives in our lives:
Our 4th wife is our body. No matter how much time and effort we lavish in making it look good, it will leave us when we die.
Our 3rd wife is our possessions, status, and wealth. When we die, it goes unto others.
Our 2nd wife is our family and friends. No matter how much they have been there for us, the furthest they can stay by us is up the grave.
Our 1st wife is our Soul. Often neglected in pursuit of wealth, power, and pleasures of the world. However, Our soul is the only thing that will follow us where we go.
Cultivate, strengthen, and cherish it now, for it is the only part that will follow us to the throne of God and continue with us throughout eternity.

The winner was a four year old child whose next door neighbor was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife.
Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman's yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there.
When his Mother asked what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy said,
"Nothing, I just helped him cry"

N100 Worth of Time
** SUNDAY UPDATES **
A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.
SON: "Daddy, may I ask you a question?"
DAD: "Yeah sure, what is it?" replied the man. "
SON: "Daddy, how much do you make an hour?"
DAD: "That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?" the man said angrily. "
SON: "I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?"
DAD: "If you must know, I make N100 an hour."
SON: "Oh," the little boy replied, with his head down.
SON: "Daddy, may I please borrow N50?"
The father was furious, "If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I work hard everyday for such this childish behavior."
The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.
The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?
After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started to think: Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that N50 and he really didn't ask for money very often. The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.
"Are you asleep, son?" He asked.
"No daddy, I'm awake," replied the boy.
"I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier" said the man.
"It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the N50 you asked for."
The little boy sat straight up, smiling. "Oh, thank you daddy!" He yelled.
Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills. The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.
"Why do you want more money if you already have some?" the father grumbled.
"Because I didn't have enough, but now I do," the little boy replied.
"Daddy, I have N100 now. Can I buy an hour of your time?
Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you."
The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness.
It's just a short reminder to all of us working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts.
Do remember to share that N100 worth of your time with someone you love.
If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours.
But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than to our family.
SUNDAY
Years I spent in vanity and pride,
Caring not my lord was crucified,
Knowing not it was for me he died on
Calvary
Mercy there was great, and grace was free
Pardon there was multiplied to me
There my burdened soul found liberty at
calvary
OLAMILD : {screams} CALLLLLLLVARYY
By God's word at last my sin I learned;
Then I trembled at the law I'd spurned,
Till my guilty soul imploring turned to
OLAMILD: {screams} CALLLVARYYYYYYYY
I believe I was the loudest when it came to the 'CALVARY' part. It was the only line I knew in the hymn that was rendered at church. I know we've all had similar experiences. When we hear a song, we mumble and sing silently until it gets to the part we really know. Service was fun and we give thanks to God for that. I came home to clean the house and I headed out with my sis. We volunteered to represent 9ja by dancing at the international concert that was held at WCC. We met with 2 other girls from Nigeria and we quickly changed to our outfits...
Nothing fancy- a tanktop, black leggings, green glittery wrapper, beads representing the nigerian flag, green and white strings attached/braided into our hair...I believe one of the girls has the pictures. If it turns out well, I'll share some. We danced to 'Coupe Decale' by teeyah. We represented Nigeria with our outfit and represented a huge part of Africa with the dance moves. We walked all sorts of traditional steps into the dance...sparkle was even trying to work soulja boy into it.. DOn't tell her i told you o. Oh well everyone got to do as they pleased when it got to the free styl portion. All of the other steps were co-ordinated by me.
Announcer: I introduce you all to a group called AREWA from Nigeria (lights dim)
Audience: Yayyyyyyy (applause)
We walk up to the stage and stood there for good 2 mins and the music did not start. Thank God I was closer to the exit.. I exited to find out what was going on and they said our CD did not read... what? 4 where? I had to get the girls off the stage, while the audience gave them a round of applause... We went to the tech pple and they gave us a CD that says Nigerianne. WHAT? THat's not our CD. My Cd says Coupe Decaler teeyah....talk of commotion, anger, 9ja madness... we were roaming the halls grumbling. I just went to my car and got another CD (thank God i had extras) and we went back after the columbian pple did their dance.
What if I didn't have an extra cd? Imagine if it was you, what would you have done?

By God's word at last my sin I learned;

A Powerful Prayer
By Pastor TD Jakes
This prayer takes about one minute!
Pray it sincerely, and then those you send it to will pray for you!
'When you are DOWN to nothing,..
God is UP to something Father,
in the Name of Jesus, bless me even while I'm reading this prayer and bless the one that sent this to me in a special way.
Open supernatural doors in our lives today.
Save and set free!
Give us a double portion of your Spirit as we take back everything
that the devil has stolen: Emotional Health, Physical Health, Finances, Relationships, Children, Jobs, Homes, Marriages.
I cancel every plot, plan and scheme the enemy has devised against us in the MATCHLESS NAME OF JESUS.
AndI declare: NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST US WILL PROSPER.
I speak LIFE into every dead situation.
And, I thank you that nothing is over until YOU say it's over!
I speak prophetically into our lives and to our situations:
Our households are blessed;
Our health is blessed;
Our marriages are blessed;
Our finances are blessed;
Our businesses are blessed,
Our jobs are blessed;
Our children are blessed;
Our grandchildren are blessed;
Our parents are blessed;
ur siblings are blessed;
Our ministries are blessed; and,
Our decisions are blessed.
Our success in this Semester's Exams is assured,
Husbands are on the way;
Wives are on the way;
Mortgages are paid and debts canceled;
Our hearts' desires are on the way;
according to YOUR perfect will and plan for our lives. IN JESUS' NAME! AMEN!
Say this prayer, then send it to EVERYBODY YOU KNOW. Within hours countless people will have prayed for you, and you will have caused a multitude of people to pray to God for each other.

Prayers
ORIENTATED NAIJA BABE BIRTHDAY
Numerous events are taking place all over the world. You've probably thought about partaking in it but did you? We celebrated our 47th year of being Independent. what do we have to show for it? We all made new year resolutions before the beginning of 2007. what exactly did we follow? what did we achieve?Ask yourself what you've achieved in this year that's coming to an end. Do not lie to yourself. How many times did you pray this year? How many times do you pray in a week? Think about all the tragedy we've all experienced since january. Why are we here? How come we're not gone like those people? Think about the fire explosion that just occured in Nigeria. Think about the poor and needy. Are you better than them? I am asking you all this because I have come to realise that Life without Prayer is nothing. We are not better than those that are gone. We're here because of God's grace. If prayer was the only thing that kept you alive, you might say you're alive by your might. I want you to know that you are being prayed for when you refuse to pray. There's (at least) one person out there praying for you.
Sometimes you hear someone say,
"We've done all we can.
The only thing we can do now is pray."
Prayer really should be our first resort rather than our last resort.
Jesus gave us the Lord's Prayer,
as a model prayer and Jesus himself
often went off to pray,
setting an example for us to do the same.
If Jesus needed to go off and pray,
how much more do we need to?
Praying should not be something we do out of duty and routine.
Prayer is talking and listening to our loving, all knowing, heavenly Father.
Prayer shows our dependence on God,
his power and His wisdom.
Prayer is powerful and so important.
Studies have been done in the medical fieldshowing the power of prayers.
They used two groups of people to observe the difference
between the group that was being prayed for and the group that wasn't.
There was a marked difference in the recovery of those who were being prayed for,
and they weren't even told that they were being prayed for.
Why not pray for someone today? Why not pray for yourself? If you don't know whom to pray for, start by praying for london buki's mom, pink satin's cousin, 2face (he got shot), and so on...If we pray together, we'll achieve everything.

L-O-V-E
Another man nearby told him to stop saving the scorpion that kept stinging him.
But the man said: "It is the nature of the scorpion to sting. It is my nature to love. Why should I give up my nature to love just because it is the nature of the scorpion to sting?"
Don't give up loving... Don't give up your goodness... Even if the people around you, HURT and STING .....love them
What is LOVE to you?
Can you love when it hurts?
Should you love when you're betrayed?
Can you be the man in this story?
Will you still love your loved ones when they do the opposite?
What do you think of this short story?
I can't remember where I got this from but it's gonna lead to a story that I will share with yall soon. I hope I get the time to do it. It's been a bug's life lately. I have not shared my song with yall because I have not even receive my own copy of it. The studio guy is having some difficulties....which I will not take lightly if it gets too late. Have a peaceful week. Stay Safe
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE WEEK

Imagine Me

When the word 'Imagine Me' comes up, we all think of Kirk Franklin's song. That's very good but do you actually Imagine yourself in situations you never thought you'd be? You can't say Abroad has been what you thought it was going to be. You expected America to be paradise when you were leaving Nigeria but here you are in a country where you have a home and still have to pay to stay in (mortgage). If you're not working morning job, you're doing night. If you're not worrying about your rents, you're worrying about utility bills and so many other things. There is no peace anywhere. You call 9ja to check on your peeps and you're told that 'nike just died of cancer' or grandma is sick, bring some money. So little success with a lot of stress. I know some of us have problems that bug us 24/7. Thinking about it makes it worst than before. That's why I'm dedicating this song to you all. I know many have been in situations where they felt like they had nobody. I want you to Imagine GOD taking care of your needs, and problems. If you think you've seen worst, think about orphans, sicklers. think about people that are sleeping at the embassy for weeks just to get visa to come where you are today. If you've really had it and life has fallen apart for you. You have low self esteem. you think no one cares. You think you're unwanted and ugly. You say " Why should I try to do this or that? I'm not important after all"
Don't say you're not important, It simply isn't true. The fact that you were born, Is proof, God has a plan for you. The path may seem unclear right now, But one day you will see, That all that came before, Was truly meant to be. God wrote the book that is your life, that's all you need to know. Each day that you are living, Was written long ago....Imagine GOD doing what he does best- taking care of you.... I have lied, cheated,... I've also been cheated, betrayed, and lied to.. Imagine Me.. Imagine you being free in the sight of our maker.. he's the only one that sees and looks beyond your faults.
