SICK

I am sooooooooo mad right now.
I am upset
I am frustrated gan sef.
Every time I want to finish up my studio work
OR
Anytime I got a show to perform at (big ones 0)

I manage to FALL SICK

and I don't mean lil stuffs that you can just manage to look over.
I called off work and missed lectures yesterday
I am doing the same today because i am in sooooo much pain.
I just finished using some traditional herbs that my sis prepared
and I feel a lil relieved but

So...
It snowed two days ago
na there I just catch cold ...sore throat, runny nose, migraine ....
sleeplessness..."Mr." don worry die.

I'm supposed to perform at Wayne State University this saturday
and I don't think I can make it there.
I need a miracle yall

Please PRAY FOR ME. I don't want to miss this event
and I want to be well by this time tomorrow.

Rape

I was reading a story online
about a 17 yr old Nigerian girl.
She was raped by her high school teacher
She couldn't tell anyone in order to avoid ridicule
The teacher ran away from the town shortly after the incident.
Months after, the girl found out that she was pregnant.

She told her sister who told her mother; then father.
The poor girl was beaten mercilessly
and disowned by the dad.
She has been abandoned by the entire family.

This brought tears to my eyes
because i still don't understand why people can be so cruel
and to think that her family will abandon her
after the traumatic experience is devastating....

Why can't Nigerian parents deal with rape?
How do we address the issue of rape in 9ja?
How do we educate people that a rape victim is not guilty of what happened to her?
What's your say to this?

Still Sick

Even worse as of now...
`been battling sleepless nightz
due to cough, cold, and migraine.
I have used 3 different medicines
aboniki, hot chocolate... you name it
and i am still feeling dead.

Please pray for me o.
I have to sing at a friend's wedding next weekend
I cannot do it feeling like this.

Birthday Post

Happy Birthday to November babies. May the light of God continue to shine in your lives. Special happy birthday to obiwanne, cally and all other blogsville celebrants. I'm also using this medium to thank many wonderful people (long list) for putting up my banner. The support's great and no words can explain how grateful I am. I've not been to the studio in weeks. I've been sick for about 2 weeks and it got worst this week. The pain was unbearable....i'm still kinda weak now but I'm getting better.

Don't worry o FFO (for food only). I did not make the food so feel free to eat. You won't get sick loll. Okay lemme sing for the celebrants before I leave.. Happy happy bday, that is all I want to say. I wish u many many happy returns. Today na your day, do shakara. If devil tok, e go fall yakata.
