Sturves
How una dey o?
Everything just dey happen from left to right.
Just this week, my car was raided at my school.
I got out of my 6pm class and thought i should get something
to eat outside school before i head back to the library.
About a feet away from my car, I saw my stuffs on the floor.
I walked around my car and saw different items from my car all over the floor,
All my doors were unlocked
and that surprised me because i didn't leave it like that.
Anyway, I entered my car to find out that
my money was gone.
I usually keep singles and coins in my storage just
in case i need to get a drink from the vending machine.
That one no even pain me..
I looked at the gift bag i left under the passenger's seat
and I realized that my gift was gone
The best gift i had fr my birthday
which I only used once had been stolen.
MY GPS got jacked.
To say I was mad would be an understatement
I was close to tears. I rushed down to the security office
and shared what i could... i was really fighting the tears o.
I con expect them to go find the surveillance camera
wey suppose dey the area where i parked my car.
them no mention anything about camera o.
They asked me if I wanted to file a report and I'm like hell yea.
I was so pissed off. They said I could file a school report and a police report.
I asked what the school report does and they said
"well it just stays in our record that a car was raided
and items were stolen."
What does that do for me?, I replied.
Nothing it's just in our records.
I told them to keep their report and asked about the police report. The security officer said he could call the sheriff but the sheriff would take at least two hours to get to the scene because it's hard to get those people to come down here. I was like 2 what? Are you kidding me? This is an emergency! My car got raided and my personals were stolen and you expect me to sit here anticipating the arrival or a sheriff that might not show up.
I was mad. I just left the scene.
I am calm now and many friends including my professor urge me to file a report. I will do that asap.

On Thursday, I got a call from two of my friendz
they wanted me to go to the studio and help them out with some sturves.
I'm like no yawa make una holla me at 8pm.
We got to the studio at 8:30
As we con reach studio, I asked wetin them wan record
One of my friend had his lyrics ready
and the other one had nothing
I'm like how do you come to the studio unprepared?
You have no lyrics, no tune and you want to record.
Him tok say no be wetin i bring you here for be that?
He told me to write a chorus for him.
I took the verse lyrics from the other guy (flo) and
with that, I was able to write...
"Why, why you do me like that?
Girl don't you know you're supposed to be here?
Don't even fake it girl

You thought you played me girl
but you played yourself babe"
I gave him (slide) the tune, he sang it and i liked it
so I watched them rap and sing.
They ended up throwing me in it for a sec
just to do a little ad lib

Yoruba Nite
Besides school, this is what i am currently working on.
We have succeeded in introducing yoruba youth club to a community college in Michigan.

BUSY LYFE....again
`Back to the busy me Calculus has sent me to the math center. I stole this pics from my school website
My teacher was telling me that the book I have contains Calc I - III. That thing is heavy as a rock. Besides school my project =YYC is consuming a lot of time. The cultural dancers have to perform this weekend They will also perform on October 4 at the 48th Independence of Nigeria (Southfield, MI). Put me in your prayers.
