Your Worth (for da ladies)

Women have strengths that amaze men.
They bear hardships and they carry burdens, but they hold happiness, love and joy.
They smile when they want to scream.

They sing when they want to cry.
They cry when they are happy
and laugh when they are nervous.
They fight for what they believe in.

They stand up to injustice.
They don't take "no" for an answer
when they believe there is a better solution.
They go without so their family can have.
They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.

They love unconditionally.
They cry when their children excel
and cheer when their friends get awards.
They are happy when they hear about
a birth or a wedding.

Their hearts break when a friend dies.
They grieve at the loss of a family member,
yet they are strong when they
think there is no strength left.

They know that a hug and a kiss
can heal a broken heart.
Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors.
They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you
to show how much they care about you.

The heart of a woman is what
makes the world keep turning.
They bring joy, hope and love.
They have compassion and ideas.

They give moral support to their
family and friends.
Women have vital things to say
and everything to give.

HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN,
IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH.

"A Woman was taken out of man; not out of his head to top him, nor out of his feet to be trampled underfoot; but out of his side to be equal to him, under his arm to be protected, and near his heart to be loved”....Ivan Panin

Dear God, I know most of my friends (bloggers) cannot attend the program I am attending (one that started yesterday and will last for 3 days) but I pray that shall be partakers of the blessing that will be released to all the attendees. I pray that you bless all of them and meet them at the point of their needs. Lord help resolve all the misunderstandings going on in this blogville family. Lord help london bukky by strengtning her o God. She needs you more than ever and you are the only one that can be there 24/7. You are the one who was, is and will be. You will be there even when we are not there. I pray that you help her mum heal that we may have cause to glorify you. Satin's cousin is in your hands o God, heal him quickly. I pray for everyone else that needs one or two things from you, meet them at the point of their needs. Thank you lord for the answered prayer. (Amen)
Have a 1-der-full weekend all.

"a woman's worst enemey is a woman" ... hmm I'm on the same page with u. I don't know if i want to agree with that. We don't know how worth and it's good (at ties) that we don't cus if we knew how much we do without getting credit, we might feel unappreciated and do less.

@andy
amen my broda

wow!!! i'm so loving this. You have a great blog and i love the way you write. Women indeed have an amazing strength, sometimes i imagine how i'm able to handle some situations i'm faced with, but then i guess its that strength we're talking about.

Right there... you are correct.
My friend and I were watching a movie and he just started talking on the phone.. the convo was more of a deadly convo and i thot he was still into the movie. As soon as the first part finished, i removed the cd and he goes "please please put it back. I didn't see the end of it" I'm thinking (the end of it was just like 2 mins and u were not into your convo)... Hee got off the phone and said "abeg make i see the end... Men no fit multitask.. they put all their concentration on one thing at a time."

I just smiled and replayed the end of the movie... God has endowed us with many things that we fail to appreciate.

go girl, ure right : HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN,
IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH." - thats the main and major problem.

The way I see it, I think the right word is that Women(or should I say 'a lot of' women) don't even value themselves. What could be worse than one peddling oneself.

yes i love the the flaw part, and i think it is kind of weird even to us, that we truly do all this things, and dont really notice. i love that we are able to be good mothers, wives, sisters, friends, teachers, and all this things. its a lovely thing that we are created.
